Caring Santa event at Lehigh Valley Mall
WHITEHALL, Pa. -

On Sunday, the Lehigh Valley Mall made a visit with Santa extra special for some children.

The mall hosted a "Caring Santa" event, giving children with special needs the opportunity to meet Santa, and get a photo with him in a subdued environment.

The lights were dimmed, the music turned off, all to help make the children more comfortable with the visit.

This is the second year for the event.
