One local softball team honored America's heroes Saturday on the diamond.

The Fullerton Ramblers supported our nation's troops by wearing shirts from the 228th Brigade Battalion.

The team's assistant coach, Rich Braun, currently serves in the National Guard.

The game opened up with the pledge of allegiance and closed with the girls signing a shirt that will be hung in the armory.
