ALBURTIS, Pa. -

A 19-year-old Lehigh County town councilman, who has had more than one run-in with the law, has waived his right to a preliminary hearing in his latest case.

Alburtis Councilman Kyle Bower will have his charges held for court.

He was arrested earlier this month for allegedly stealing Mitt Romney campaign signs and damaging a Lower Macungie farmer's field by driving his car through it.

Bower was already on probation after pleading guilty to a stalking charge earlier this year.
