Police in Allentown are investigating the deadly shooting of a 19-year-old man.
The gunfire erupted around 5 p.m. Tuesday at 905 Chew Street, and police are still looking for clues as to what took place.
"We arrived to find a victim. The victim in this case has sustained a gunshot wound and at this point is under investigation," said Asst. Chief Joseph Hanna, Allentown Police Dept.
The victim, Anthony Alexis Otero, died at the scene, said the coroner, who ruled his death a homicide.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday to determine the exact cause of death.
Otero, officials said, lived at the residence, but they were unsure what exactly took place in the apartment.
"We are interviewing a number of people in the neighborhood right now in hopes that we're able to garner some information," Hanna said.
Police took two men away in a police vehicle. So far, they will not say if they are persons of interest or suspects.
Police will keep searching for clues, and possibly even use the surveillance camera at the corner.
"I can't comment on any investigative tools that we are using right now," said Hanna.
A lot of neighbors living in the area were afraid to speak out. They said they can't believe what happened and they hope police catch the person or people involved.
