2 men try to break into Easton house, police say
Homeowner thwarts would-be thieves
Easton police are searching for two men they say who tried to force their way inside a home.
Officials say the homeowner was able to keep the masked men from getting into his house and the suspects fled on foot. No injuries were reported.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 600 block of Charles Street.
Police say one of the men had a long gun with him that may have been a shotgun.
The men are described as black males, wearing face masks.
One was wearing a dark hoodie, and the other was wearing a light grey one.
