Web reporter Len Righi dies at 63

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

69 News and the journalism community have lost a valuable member.

Len Righi passed away Wednesday. He was 63.

Len started working at WFMZ in 2009 as a producer and writer.

He then served as a web reporter, covering the Northampton County courts and municipalities for WFMZ.com.

Len began his career in 1972 at the Morning Call newspaper in Allentown. He started as a police reporter but migrated into arts and entertainment.

Len will be remembered by many of his readers for his reviews of new album releases and local concerts.

Len was a valuable member of the 69 News family and he will be greatly missed.
