It's time to take a look back at the stories making headlines this week in the 69 News Week In Review.
Monday, the feds gave the Allentown School District a checkup -- 10 years after a series of alleged sexual attacks on students, by a student.
Attorneys with the Justice Department held a meeting with community members to talk about changes in district policies since then.
The feds became involved following a lawsuit settlement involving several former Central Elementary School students who were allegedly repeatedly sexually abused by another student in 2003 and 2004.
On Tuesday, a judge sentenced a Lehigh County man to life in prison for the murder of an elderly woman her disabled daughter.
Officials said Kasick killed Althea and Jeanette Walbert while burglarizing their Alburtis home in 2011.
Wednesday, a chicken processing plant on the Berks-Lebanon county line
announced its closing, putting hundreds of people out of work.
Perdue farms will close its plant in Fredericksburg, Lebanon County, which employees 650 people.
Community members said the closing is going to put a big stress on families in the area.
The plant will close in March.
On Thursday, two men were charged in the brutal killing of a 23-year-old woman from Berks County.
Police said Ashley Kline of Robesonia was assaulted, stabbed multiple times and then set on fire while she was still alive.
21-year-old Adam Lynch of Reading and 19-year-old Ryan Schannauer of Spring Township were both charged with homicide.
Police still do not have a motive.
Friday, two students were shot inside a charter school in north Philadelphia.
Police said 17-year-old Raisheem Rochwell is being charged as an adult in the shooting that happened inside the gymnasium of the Delaware Valley Charter High School.
Two students sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police have suggested the shooting may have been an accident, but have yet to confirm that officially.
