Allentown woman admits to role in deadly robbery in Phillipsburg
A woman charged in connection with the armed robbery and killing of a gas station attendant in New Jersey has admitted to her role in the crime.
Alexis Flowers pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy and armed robbery for her role in the January 5 robbery at the BP Gas Station on South Main Street in Phillipsburg.
The gas station's attendant, Kismathdas Kasam, was shot during the holdup and later died.
Flowers, 22, of Allentown, will spend at least 16 years in prison.
Two others charged in the case, David Beagell, of Easton, and Zachary Flowers, of Allentown, have already pleaded guilty.
The alleged shooter, Andy Torres, has rejected a deal to plead guilty. Torres, 23, of Allentown, is charged with murder, felony murder and armed robbery.
