BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A Lehigh Valley fire department is beefing up its fleet.

The Bethlehem Fire Department received a new fire engine at its station on East 4th Street on Tuesday.

The truck can carry the usual firefighting equipment, plus rescue equipment and 500 gallons of water, officials said.

Three firefighters will be on board the engine at all times.

The new truck cost the city about $500,000.
