Bethlehem Twp. house fire displaces family

A family was displaced after at a fire at a Northampton County home.

The fire broke out around 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of Hecktown Road in Bethlehem Township.

Officials told a 69 News crew on the scene, that when they arrived, they saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the basement.

The fire then spread to the first floor, where it was contained.

One of the residents and a firefighter both suffered minor injuries.

There is no word on a cause.
