Members of the Bethlehem Fire Department are lending a hand in the fight against breast cancer.
Members of the Firefighters Union Local 735 have been selling pink tee shirts throughout the Lehigh Valley all year long.
On Friday morning the firefighters presented a check for more than $8,000 to the St. Luke's Hospital Cancer Center.
Organizers say keeping the money in the Lehigh Valley is an important part of the project.
Organizers say this is the second year of the pink shirt campaign and they raised twice as much money this year as they did last year.
