EMMAUS, Pa. -

A Lehigh County high school has removed a pair of controversial books from its summer reading list.

Earlier this year a parent raised concerns over the graphic content of he books which are on the optional reading list at Emmaus High School.

Earlier this week the East Penn School Board voted to remove Tom Wolfe's "Electric Kool Aid Acid Test" from the 10th grade reading list as well as the novel "Prep" from the 9th grader's list.

Even though the books have been removed from the reading lists, they'll still be available at the school's library.
