EASTON, Pa. -

A national burger chain is looking to set up shop in Easton.

Mayor Sal Panto said Cheeburger Cheeburger is close to signing a lease for a spot in the newly renovated Pomeroy's building.

The restaurant would be a 1950s-themed burger joint specializing in upscale hamburgers, fries, malts and shakes.

Panto said it's not a done-deal yet, and he doesn't know when anything will be signed.
