A national campaign to help protect children has made its way to the Lehigh Valley's front porch.
The Bethlehem Health Bureau on Monday hosted the first of two training sessions as part of the Front Porch Project.
The project was started by the American Humane Association to help stop child abuse and neglect before it begins.
Participants learned different ways to help vulnerable families while creating a positive environment for neighborhood kids.
Another training session will be held in a few weeks.
