MACUNGIE, Pa. -

If you damage property, chances are there's a surveillance camera nearby to catch the action. That was the case when someone damaged a health center sign last month in Lehigh County.

The incident happened Oct. 1 in the parking lot of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Macungie Health Center at 6451 Village Lane in Macungie.

LVH surveillance footage shows an older man teaching a younger male how to drive in the center's parking lot around 9:30 that night. Officials said the lesson went on for about 16 minutes.

At one point, the younger driver backed into a three-day old LVH sign, hospital officials said.

Surveillance shows the older man getting out the van to see if any damage was done to the vehicle, then the two drove away, leaving behind $1,465.00 worth of damage to the sign.

Anyone who has information on a white or light-colored buick Terraza minivan is asked to contact state police at Fogelsville.
