ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown police are looking for a man who got away with money from a Chinese restaurant in town Sunday.

It happened around 1 p.m. at the China Garden restaurant at 801 Union Blvd.

Police said a dark-skinned, muscular black man entered the restaurant to order food.

When the worker turned around to place the order, the man held a hard object to her back, implied he had a gun and demanded money, police said.

The robber got an undetermined amount of money from the cash register.

Police said a language barrier delayed their obtaining a full account of the crime, until an interpreter was brought in.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Allentown Police Department at 610-437-7721 or the department's anonymous tip line at 610-439-5911.
