ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A driver involved in an accident that killed a 14-year-old trick-or-treater last year has been cited for traffic violations.

Christopher Lee was cited for not having insurance and current registration on his car, Lehigh County District Attorney James Martin said Thursday.

Martin announced Tuesday that Lee, 29, of Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., would not face criminal charges in the Oct. 26 accident in Upper Macungie Township.

The accident happened as Jordan Steinmetz walked in the same direction as traffic on Schantz Road , wearing dark, non-reflective clothing while trick-or-treating with friends, officials said. Steinmetz later died of his injuries.
