A 41-year-old woman was killed and five others were injured in a crash near Lower Macungie Middle School, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Brandi Kralik of Emmaus died Wednesday afternoon, shortly after she was involved in the wreck in the 6200 block of Lower Macungie Road, the Lehigh County Coroner's office said.
Also in Kralik's car were two boys, 10 and 16 and Ciera Bellsfield, 19, police said. Bellsfield and the 16-year-old were moderately injured. The 10-year-old suffered major injuries. Judith Perrin, 67, and Kristine Perrin, 42, were inside the other vehicle involved in the wreck, a mini van. They both suffered major injuries.
Judith Perrin's van traveled into the opposing lane of traffic and hit Kralik's car, police said.
An autopsy will be performed on Kralik's body Thursday.
Anyone who saw the accident is asked to call police at 610-395-1438.
