Easton community responds to recent homicides with 'Stop the Violence' rally
People in Easton are coming together Saturday in an effort to stop the violence.
The Greater Shiloh Church is sponsoring the "Stop the Violence Prayer Rally and Walk."
The rally is scheduled to start 9 a.m. at the church.
Participants will walk to West Nesquehoning and McKeen streets, where 44-year-old Paul Murray, of New York City, was shot and killed earlier this week.
After that they'll head to West Saint Joseph Street where 43 year-old Ervin Holton was killed last month.
No arrests have been made in either homicide.
