EASTON, Pa. -

An Easton man tried to get rid of the drug evidence, police said, and he had an unusual place he'd hidden some marijuana.

Easton Police's vice/narcotics and special response units executed a search warrant at a home at 804 Walnut Street, Apartment 1, around 6 a.m. Thursday.

Police found their target-26-year-old Anthony Rowe "A-Rock" at the apartment.

As officers entered the apartment, they said Rowe tried to run and hide, as well as destroy the evidence of heroin and marijuana.

He tried to flush heroin down a toilet, and also tried to eat marijuana he'd hidden in his buttocks, police said.

Rowe also ignored officers' commands to show his hands, police said.

Rowe was taken into custody without any injuries, and will face charges of delivery of heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence.

Police recovered about $1,000 worth of heroin and $100 of marijuana.

Rowe was taken to Easton Hospital as a precaution for ingesting the drugs. He was treated and released.
