The Zumba dance fitness craze has been seen all over the world -- but one local group was dancing for a family in need Friday night.
People from all over gathered at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Whitehall for a Zumba session benefiting the Everett children of Randolph, New Jersey.
The Everetts lost both their parents during Hurricane Sandy and community leaders wanted to help the elder sister, 19-year-old Zoey, who is currently seeking full guardianship of her younger siblings.
"It's just an overwhelming response to help this family and they don't even know the family. It's just a very caring, overwhelming response," said trainer Tara Miller.
Leaders at the event say they hope to have more fundraisers like this one for the Everetts in the future.
