FORKS TWP., Pa. -

A Forks Township man used an unusual method of payment for his property taxes last week.

And cameras were rolling the whole time.

"I'm here to pay the school portion of the property tax in dollar bills," said Robert Fernandes.

Fernandes paid his more than $7,000 tax bill entirely in $1 bills.

He's seen in a YouTube video bringing duffel bags full of cash to the Forks Township municipal building.

Fernandes' children are home-schooled.

In the video, he says he shouldn't have to pay taxes for a school system his family doesn't use.

As a goodwill gesture Fernandes also brought donuts for the municipal employees to apologize for the inconvenience.
