Grace O'Donnell set boyfriend, Terrance Mainor, on fire in Wilson
A woman is in trouble after making good on a threat to set her boyfriend on fire, officials said.
Grace C. O'Donnell was arrested for throwing a lit sock onto Terrance Mainor, after she had doused his shirt and face with gasoline at about 3:15 a.m. Monday in the basement of their home at 122 South 17th St., Wilson, Northampton Co., officials said.
Police said Mainor was not injured, only that there was a burn mark on the basement floor from the sock.
O'Donnell and Mainor's three young children and Mainor's mother, Cynthia Rivers, were upstairs in the home at the time, officials said.
O'Donnell and Mainor were arguing all day Sunday, and Mainor told police that O'Donnell threatened to burn him in his sleep, officials said.
O'Donnell was arraigned on charges simple assault, making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.
