ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

An Allentown man accused of stabbing two people will spend years behind bars.

Joel Antonia Vazquez was sentenced Tuesday to 70 months to 30 years in prison.

Vazquez, 26, was involved in a domestic disturbance at the Spring Ridge Apartments in Whitehall Twp, Lehigh Co., last June, police said. Vazquez stabbed a husband and wife before stabbing himself.

Both of the victims have since recovered.

Vazquez pleaded guilty to aggravated assault as part of a plea deal last month.
