Brian DeLong, associate dean at LCCC released the following statement:
"I am sorry to inform you of the death of one of our students, David P. Mueller, who passed away yesterday from a severe case of pneumonia and influenza B. David was a pre-nursing major from Schnecksville, Pa.
Our hearts go out to David’s family and friends.

In an abundance of caution and on advice from David’s doctor, we are notifying the campus community that if you are showing any signs of an upper respiratory infection or a severe cold, you should seek-out immediate medical attention from a physician."
