Lawrence Gaines to stand trial in stabbing death of William Thompson in Easton

A Northampton County man is heading to trial on homicide charges.
A judge held all charges for court after a preliminary hearing Friday for Lawrence Gaines.
Gaines, 44, stabbed William Thompson to death at Ferry and Union streets in Easton in July, said police, who added that the stabbing stemmed from an argument over drugs.
