Several government offices will be closed Monday due to Hurricane Sandy.
The federal courthouses in Allentown and Philadelphia will be closed.
All non-essential state level offices are also closed.
As of 8:30 a.m., county offices in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill and Monroe in Pennsylvania are OPEN Monday.
There's no word of any closings of county offices in Warren County, New Jersey.
There will also be no FedEx transportation to Harrisburg, Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia on Monday.
All non-essential county departments will be closed.
The Reading City Hall and Citizens Service Center will close at 2 p.m. Monday.

In Reading, trash and recycling collection is on a two-day delay. Collection originally scheduled for Monday is postponed until Wednesday, and collection will be adjusted forward from there. Residents are urged to bring trash/recycling set out Monday back in until Wednesday.

If traffic signals are knocked out of service, intersections should be treated as a four-way stop.
Hamburg and Longswamp Twp. have declared a storm emergency, starging at noon Monday. Longswamp's is in effect until noon Wednesday. Hamburg's declaration is in effect until further notice.
Leesport has declared a state of emergency in effect until further notice.
Mt. Penn is under a state of emergency. No trash pickup Tuesday; double pickup Friday.
The Drop Off Recycling Center, located at 1400 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., in Allentown, will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
Allentown's yard waste site, located at Oxford Dr. & Fish Hatchery Rd., will be closed on Tuesday. After the storm, it is anticipated that the city’s yard waste recycling site will open Wednesday and will remain open until further notice to assist with debris.

South Whitehall Twp. is opening its township Emergency Operations Center at noon Monday. Residents can call 610-0871-2320. The township's recycling drop-off center is closed Monday.
Whitehall Twp. officials have canceled refuse, recycling, yard waste and leaf pickup for Tuesday. All zones go to a holiday schedule for the rest of the week. The township municipal building is open and the emergency operations center will remain open until the storm has passed.
