Margarita Ruedas accused of setting fire to house with husband, 4 family members inside
A Bethlehem woman is in custody, accused of setting fire to her house with family members inside.
Police responded to the report of a fire at 1250 E. Fourth St. around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
An investigation revealed that Margarita Ruedas, 43, set fire to a fuel-soaked wad of paper towels outside the door of the bedroom where her husband was sleeping, police said.
Four other family members were also in the home when the fire was set, police said.
Reudas faces charges of arson, risking catastrophe and recklessly endangering another person.
