Students and staff at Northampton Community College have a whole lot to celebrate this week.

The college is marking its 45th anniversary and the inauguration of a new president.

Mark Erickson was sworn in as N.C.C.'s fourth president Thursday afternoon. He's replacing Arthur Scott, who held the position for the last nine years.

More than 350,000 people have attended the college since it first opened its doors back in 1967.
