EASTON, Pa. -

A man who sold oxycodone to a police source three times over the last two weeks was found with heroin when he was busted, officials said.

Nicholas P. Maietta was found with several packages of heroin and drug paraphernalia when police raided his apartment at 1051 Northampton St., Easton, on Thursday morning, officials said.

Maietta sold oxycodone tablets from his apartment to a confidential source on Feb. 16, 21 and 27, using a cell phone to arrange the buys, officials said.

Maietta, 24, was arraigned on charges of drug possession, possession with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegally using a communications facility and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $65,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. March 8.

Sember was released, but will be issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia, including pipes and a digital scale, officials said, adding that the Northampton County Children, Youth and Families Division has been notified about the raid.
