Pa. AG: Tattoo shops need to be licensed
Pennsylvania's Auditor General is pushing for a change in code for tattoo artists.
Auditor General Jack Wagner says he wants the state's Department of Health to license and regulate any tattoo parlor in Pennsylvania.
Wagner's new law would also require parlors to have minimum training requirements for its artists, including being certified for first aid, CPR and dealing with blood-borne illnesses.
It also would require parlors to have liability insurance.
