EASTON, Pa. -

A woman was arrested after beating up her cousin during a visit, officials said.

Anita M. Dorsey punched her cousin, Brandy Zeruth, in the face several times and then kicked her in the face at about 6:50 p.m. Thursday in Zeruth's home at 1146 Bushkill St., Easton, officials said.

Officers found Zeruth with bruises on the left side of her face and blood coming from her nose, officials said, adding that Zeruth's nose appeared to be broken.

Dorsey was found by police at her mother's home in the unit block of North 5th Street in Easton and she admitted punching and kicking Zeruth, officials said.

No reason was given for the attack in court papers.

Dorsey, 31, of 636 North Jerome St., Allentown, was arraigned on assault and harassment charges and released on $5,000 unsecured bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 21.
