Police: Man admits to role in deadly shooting

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Police are releasing new details in the arrest of homicide suspect from over the weekend.

Police said they arrested Pedro Alicea Perez Sunday afternoon at an apartment in the 200 block of North 7th Street in Allentown.

Alicea-Perez, 35, killed Andy Hernandez-Rojas of Allentown early Sunday morning on North Morris Street, police said.

Alicea-Perez admitted to shooting Hernandez-Rojas, 29, several times, police said.

They also said they recovered a handgun inside the apartment where Alicea-Perez was arrested.
