EASTON, Pa. -

A disabled woman threw a glass bottle at her boyfriend and cut his left arm, officials said.

Marguerite Devatt threw the bottle at Sammie Greggs in their apartment at 611 Walnut St., Easton, at about 10 p.m. Thursday, officials said.

Greggs was bleeding when police arrived on the scene, and his injury required medical attention, officials said.

Court papers gave no reason why Devatt threw the bottle at Greggs.

Devatt, 51, was arraigned early Friday morning on assault and harassment charges and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $2,500 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. Feb. 1.
