A man was arrested after choking a woman and threatening her with a gun, officials said.
Michael E. Brodt held a gun to the head of Brijelle Hudock and threatened to kill her in his home at 142 South 6th St., Easton, at about 3:40 a.m. Thursday, officials said.
Just before, Brodt had thrown Hudock to the ground and choked her until she passed out, they added.
Police heard screaming and breaking glass when they arrived at Brodt's home and found Hudock bleeding from the mouth, officials said.
Investigators also discovered some marijuana and a digital scale in the home, officials said.
Brodt, 23, was arraigned on charges of aggravated and simple assault, making terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and drug possession and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $100,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. Nov. 2.
