ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Police in Lehigh County say they're handling a situation where a high school student brought a stun gun into school.

Officials say it happened last Monday at Parkland High School. South Whitehall Police say a student brought in the stun gun and handed it off to another student. The gun was not used on anyone. Both students in question have been identified and will most likely face charges. Both will also face disciplinary action from the school district.

Parkland sent out an email earlier Sunday morning explaining the incident to parents. If parents have any other questions regarding the matter, they are asked to call Principal Moniz at 610-351-5600.
