ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A man who claims to be a minister in Allentown has been arrested and charged with writing 10 bad checks.

Robert Hester wrote the checks, totaling more than $8,000, between January and October, investigators said.

The checks were written from the accounts of a church in Newark, N.J. and the Pneuma Life Center in Allentown.

Hester claims to be a minister at the life center, said investigators, who added that he's currently wanted on fraud charges in New Jersey and Delaware.
