EASTON, Pa. -

For Stephen Flowers, owner of "Suddenly Samantha" in Easton, Christmas is not a day for anyone to feel alone.

"So we opened up our doors for homeless people, people of any race, religion, beliefs, whatever, to come in and spend the day with us. We have food, and haircuts and blowouts, whatever people like,” said Flowers.

However this isn't the first time Flowers has opened the doors to his salon and offered his services to the community for free.

“Five years ago, I started coming in on New Year's Day at three in the afternoon and giving my clients the gift of free haircuts," said Flowers.

Since then, Flowers has continued giving free services every New Year's Day as well as free haircuts every Monday since this summer for the unemployed and even helped victims of Super Storm Sandy.

"The day after the storm, I posted a thing for a free wash and blowout on people for a whole week until you got your power restored, wifi use, washer and dryer use.  Then a month ago we decided to open up on Christmas just so no one's alone,” said Flowers.
