ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Santa and Mrs. Claus rode into Allentown on a motorcycle Saturday, bearing gifts for children.

They were escorted by more than one-thousand bikers from ABATE, the Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education.

Santa visited the Children's Center in Allentown to deliver toys to children in the Day Care Classrooms.

Volunteers said it's a great way of giving back to the less fortunate.

"It's good for the kids too.  The kids, they're under-privileged and everything.  We got a lot of stuff they don't, so maybe they can make someone happy for Christmas that wasn't in previous years," said Ed Cooney of ABATE.

Saturday's bike run was the 29th anniversary of the event.
