BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A number of St. Luke's Medical School's Administrators, Trustees and Teachers took a break Friday evening to welcome their newest batch of future doctors.

St. Luke's University Health Network partnered with Temple University to hold a holiday reception.

More than 60 members of the school's inaugural class mingled with their future co-workers.

Most of the class members have local ties.

St. Luke's officials say they're proud to have such a strong group especially with a looming physician shortage.
