Tony Blair to speak at Lafayette College in April
Great Britain's former prime minister is crossing the pond to travel to the Lehigh Valley.
It's official: a date has been set for Tony Blair's speech at Lafayette College in Easton.
Blair will speak on April 8 as part of Lafayette's Lives of Liberty Lecture series.
Tickets for the 4 p.m. event are free but are limited.
They'll be available Wednesday, March 6 via online ordering. Beginning that day, the general public cab order one ticket while supplies last.
Tickets are required to get in. All tickets are non-transferable and photo identification is required to enter the venue, which has not yet been announced.
Tickets ordered by the public can be picked up at the Athletic Ticket Office in Kirby Sports Center beginning Monday, March 18. Those who placed orders on or before March 20 can have them mailed.
Blair served as prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from May 1997 to June 2007. He was also the leader of Britain’s Labour Party (1994-2007) and the member of Parliament for Sedgefield, England (1983-2007).
