HELLERTOWN, Pa. -

Wintry weather made travel quite difficult on Wednesday.

The front end of a tractor trailer ended up hanging off the side of an overpass here on I-78-West in Northampton County.

This in Bethlehem, near the Hellertown exit.

The driver of the big rig was sent to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries, state police said. The driver of the rig lost control while taking evasive action to avoid a collision with a car, police said.

It took crews several hours to remove the tractor trailer from its precarious perch.
