BATH, Pa. -

Two teenagers are facing charges for starting a fire in a wooded area.

Crews were called to a wooded area behind the Bath Legion on Race Street in Bath, Northampton County around 4:30pm Friday for reports of a forest fire.

When crews arrived, the fire had been put out, officials said, but a large burn mark was found in the ground.

Police say one 13-year-old used a lighter to start the tall grass on fire.  Another 13-year-old spread the fire with a make shift torch, they said.

Both teens face charges for arson and causing or risking catastrophe.
