Uriah O'Carroll sentenced for killing Marcus Eggleston, wounding victim's mom

Teen faces 40-80 years in prison.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

An Allentown teenager will spend decades behind bars for killing a man and shooting the victim's mother in the head.

Uriah O'Carroll was sentenced Monday to 40 to 80 years in prison.

O'Carroll, 18, shot and killed Marcus Eggleston, 20, at College and Chestnut streets in Allentown last July. He also shot Eggleston's mother when she came out to help her son. She survived.

O'Carroll pleaded guilty last month to third degree murder and attempted homicide.
