A warrant was issued Wednesday for a man who admitted that drug paraphernalia found under a bench three months ago was his, officials said.

Kyle J. Fogel kept looking at a nearby bench as he was being questioned by police about a theft as he was sitting on the steps in front of the Salvation Army building in the 300 block of West Main Street in Pen Argyl, Northampton Co., at about 9:10 p.m. Oct. 28, officials said.

An officer retrieved an eyeglass case with two syringes and a glass vial with cotton in it from under the bench and noticed drug residue on both, officials said, adding that Fogel then confessed that the drug paraphernalia was his.

Police are looking to charge Fogel, 38, of 203 George St., Pen Argyl, with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.
