Allentown businessman Frederick J. Moyer killed in Carbon Co. motorcycle crash

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Investigators say an Allentown businessman died in a motorcycle crash in Carbon County over the weekend.

The Lehigh County coroner says 51-year-old Frederick J. Moyer of Allentown died in the accident.

He's part-owner of Fred Moyer Plumbing, a family business that's been around for more than 100 years.

Investigators say Moyer's motorcycle collided with a car on Saturday at Route 248 and Union Hill Road in Franklin Township, just outside Lehighton.

The coroner has ruled Moyer's death an accident.
