Allentown father, son get prison in NY prostitution case
Vincent George Sr. and Vincent George Jr. still face prison time for other charges
A Lehigh County father and son who were acquitted in New York of sex trafficking will still spend time in prison for promoting prostitution and money laundering.
The sentencing was Monday in Manhattan for Vincent George Sr. and Vincent George Jr. of Allentown. Both got three to nine years.
Several prostitutes had testified on their behalf. The women said they considered themselves to be one big family.
Defense attorneys called them ``happy hookers.''
Prosecutors said the women were too traumatized to admit they'd been abused.
