Allentown in running for $100,000 dog park...again
Vote to help the city win national contest
Allentown is hoping the third time's a charm in winning a pet park contest.
On Wednesday, PetSafe launched its third annual "Bark for Your Park" contest.
Municipalities compete to be named the 'top dog' and win a $100,000 dog park.
For the past two years, Allentown has been named a finalist in the contest, but fell short.
To win, people go to PetSafe's Facebook page and website to vote for their favorite city. The city with the most votes wins a new dog park.
This year, the contest offers more prize money and more opportunity to win, and by end of summer, five U.S. cities will share in $200,000 of funding for off-leash dog parks.
