It looks like Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski is weighing his he considers making a run for governor.

The mayor recently hosted a kick-off event to introduce a Political Action Committee called "Citizens for Pennsylvania Progress".

The group says its goal is to get progressive candidates elected to office -- candidates who support racial and gender equality, access to affordable health care and citizen's voting rights.

Pawlowski's campaign manager says the mayor is currently touring the western part of the state to determine if it's a good time to make a run for governor.
