ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown police are trying to figure out what led to the stabbing of a man late Friday night.

It happened around 11:35 p.m. in the 500 block of East Cumberland Street.

Police say the stabbing happened following a report of a large fight. Police say the fight was broken up when they arrived.

Police found evidence of a stabbing, including blood, but were unable to immediately locate  the victim.

Police later discovered the victim went to Sacred Heart Hospital, where he was treated for a minor stab wound to the arm.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
